Pop Overs
Ingredients:
3 | eggs |
1 1/2 cups | all-purpose flour |
1 1/2 cups | whole milk |
1 tsp | coarse salt |
1 tbsp | butter, melted |
light sprinkle | pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon |
Instructions:
- Heat oven to 450 degrees
- Warm milk and eggs to room temperature
- Place pop over tin or muffin pan in oven to preheat
- Mix eggs, milk and melted butter with a whisk
- Add flour, salt and pumpkin pie spice
- Remove pan from oven, place some butter or oil in each cup
- Fill cups ¾ full
- Bake for 15-20 minutes
- Decrease oven temperature to 350 degrees and bake for another 15 minutes
- Do not open oven until time is done
- Serve warm with butter and guava jam
