Mochi - Chi Chi Dango
Ingredients:
butter or nonstick spray | |
16 oz box | mochiko sweet rice flour |
2 cups | granulated sugar |
13.5 oz can | coconut milk |
2 cups | water |
7-10 drops | food coloring |
corn or potato starch |
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit
- In a large bowl, mix together mochiko flour, sugar, coconut milk, and water until the batter is smooth
- Mix in food coloring
- Pour mixture into a greased 9” x 13” pan and cover pan with foil
- Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes
- Let cool for 2 - 5 hours.
- Cut into pieces and roll in corn or potato starch
