Jello Kanten
Ingredients:
4 boxes, any flavor | Jell-O, 3 oz each or two 6 oz |
1/2 - 2/3 cup | sugar |
6 packs or scant Tbs | gelatin |
6 cups | water, boiling |
3/4 cups | water, cold |
Instructions:
- Combine dry ingredients -- Jell-O, sugar, and gelatin in large bowl
- Add boiling water. Mix until clear and sugar is melted.
- Add ¾ cup cold water and stir
- Pour into 9 x 13 baking pan and let set in fridge
- Cut into small squares -- 1-2 inch for bite size pieces
- Jello should be firm and can be put in a bowl for serving. For a more festive look, make more than one color and mix after cutting -- red and green squares for Christmas, red and blue for 4th of July.
