Darryl's Favorite Chopped Steak
Ingredients:
1-1/2 lb | boneless beef chuck roast |
1-1/2 tbsp | oil |
2 | large onions, 1/2-inch slices |
1 can (5.5 oz) | sliced mushrooms, reserve liquid |
1-1/2 tsp | garlic salt |
1/2 cup | dry sherry |
1 can (10.75 oz) | cream of mushroom soup |
Instructions:
- Cut steak into 2-inch strips or as desired
- Brown in heated oil
- Add sliced onions and saute until tender crisp
- Blend liquid from mushrooms, soup, sherry, and garlic salt. Pour over steak.
- Add mushrooms
- Simmer for 1-hour until tender
