Grove Farm at Project WET - Make A Splash 2024

Congratulations to the Kaua’i Department of Water on another fun-filled and successful Make a Splash with Project WET (Water Education Today) Festival! This is the 19th year of the event, hosting a record number of 780+ Kaua‘i fifth grade students to learn about where Kauaʻi's water comes from, water conservation, healthy habits, and many other interesting topics!

Grove Farm was excited to once again be part of this event. We facilitated the Healthy Habits lesson, where students learned about how germs and viruses travel through water, air, and physical touch. Students also played a game of modified tag to learn about how viruses attack the immune system.
